Hermes Calendar by Agentas
Private Google Calendar–to–Obsidian integration
Hermes Calendar by Agentas is a private productivity integration that reads calendar events authorized by the user and copies appointment information into that user’s private Obsidian daily-planning notes. It can also create, edit, or delete Google Calendar events when the user explicitly requests those actions through an authorized Hermes interface.
What the integration does
- Connects to Google Calendar through Google OAuth.
- Retrieves authorized event information such as event title, date, time, location, description, and status.
- Adds those appointments to managed sections in the user’s Obsidian daily notes.
- Refreshes the notes on a user-controlled schedule.
- Creates, edits, or deletes Calendar events only after an explicit user instruction through an authorized interface.
- Preserves manually written tasks and appointments outside the integration’s managed section.
Google Calendar is the authoritative source for the scheduled synchronization. The automatic Obsidian synchronization does not publish Obsidian tasks to Google Calendar and does not modify Calendar events.
How Google data is used
Google Calendar data is used only to provide the Calendar-to-Obsidian synchronization and the Calendar-management actions explicitly requested by the user. It is not sold, used for advertising, used to create advertising profiles, or shared with data brokers.
OAuth credentials are stored in the user-controlled environment where the integration is installed. Users can revoke access at any time through their Google Account.
